Marie R. Meallo

Meallo, Marie R. (Luggelle) of Hingham, January 10, 2008. Beloved wife of Frank Meallo of Hingham. Devoted mother of Ted Galo of Cohasset, Lydia DeCoste of Abington, Barbara Achille of Port Charlotte, FL, Franny McInnis of Hingham, Dolly Johnson of Hingham, Joyce Baglione of Hingham, Robin Martell of Cohasset and the late Wally Galo. Sister of the late Bernardo Luggelle, Walter Luggelle and Barbara Flett. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Marie’s life centered around her family, their gatherings and especially their meals. One of her favorite rituals was to attend Saturday Mass and then join her family for dinner. Marie was the former Treasurer for the Ladies Sodality at St. Mary’s Church in Hull. Mrs. Meallo was a longtime employee of the Hingham School System. She was generous, outspoken and loved to cook. Marie’s family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at the Harbor House for their caring support and assistance. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
