Marie R. Mcnulty

Marie R. (Sullivan) McNulty, a longtime Hingham resident, died September 8, 2016. The beloved wife of the late William J. McNulty. Loving mother of  William J. McNulty, Jr. of Pembroke, John R. McNulty of Westwood, Thomas P. McNulty of Chatham, and Robert F. McNulty of Marshfield. Sister of Eleanor Crehan of West Roxbury and John Sullivan of Osterville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was a founding member of the Church of the Resurrection in Hingham. She enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of both Cohasset Golf Club and South Shore Country Club. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and the strong friendships she and her late husband Bill made with the many friends and neighbors in the Liberty Pole section of Hingham. The foundation of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to her. Marie was the caregiver to her late husband Bill, who struggled with Parkinson’s disease for many years. She will be sadly missed by her family, but they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday 5-8pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:15 followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10am.

Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
