Marie Morley Murphy

Morley Murphy, Marie of Weymouth, passed away September 3, 2023. Marie was born and raised in Dorchester by the late Henry and Dorothy (Welch) Morley. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Northeastern University. Marie was the Vice President of Data Processing for Shawmut Bank for several years before retirement. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth. Marie and Bob enjoyed traveling to Europe and spending time with their families and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Murphy. Loving aunt of David Morley and his wife Lisa of North Carolina, Diane Groux and her husband Michael of Everett and Brian Morley and his wife Renee of Peabody. Dear sister of the late Henry (Larry) Morley and his wife Phyllis of Everett. Also survived by her great nieces and nephews Michael, Diego, Britney, Jayme, Madison and Tyler.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, September 13, 9:30-10:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 13, prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
