Marie Mchugh

McHugh, Marie I.(Presotto) of Quincy, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 after a 5 year battle with metastatic cancer. Beloved wife of the late Edward P. McHugh. Loving mother of Paul M. Picariello of Weymouth and Kathleen M. Gallagher and her husband Stephen of Norwood. Devoted grandmother of Nicholas R. and Patrick E. Gallagher of Norwood and Mario V. and Marisa V. Picariello of Weymouth. Dear cousin of Barbara Quatromoni and special aunt of Linda Englehart and their families. Marie was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester before settling in Quincy. Marie worked for H & R Block in Boston for many years as a manager. Prior to her illness Marie enjoyed golfing, ceramics, gardening and lunch with her special group of friends. Marie’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to Marie’s lifelong friends and The Hellenic Nursing Home for their support and commitment during Marie’s illness. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY at 9:15AM on Friday, March 19, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marie may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105.
