Marie Langrill

Langrill, Marie (Buckley) of Hingham, died March 8, 2018.

Marie was born and raised in Connecticut before moving to Hingham in 1965 where she has lived in the same family home since.  Marie received her Bachelors degree at St. Joseph’s College in CT and later received her Masters degree at the University of Tennessee.  She worked as a dietitian in many of the local nursing homes for many years.  Marie had a strong faith and was a Sacristy at the Church of the Resurrection in Hingham.  She volunteered making sandwiches for Fr. Bill’s Place and was known for helping anyone who needed it.  Marie was an amazing cook but most of all she cherished the times spent with her family.  She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart.  Marie will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Beloved wife of the late William Langrill.  Loving mother of Ruth Green and her husband David of SC, Mary Langrill of Hingham, William Langrill, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Marshfield and Ellen Mabee and her husband Michael of Douglas.  Devoted grandma of Briana, Grant and Will Green and William, Victoria and John Langrill.  Cherished sister of Elizabeth Miller and her late husband Roland of W. Springfield.   Caring aunt of Greg, Peter, Susanne, Teresa, William, MaryJane and Lisa and many great nieces and nephews.  Dear friend of Kenneth and Marlene Davidson and many others.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.

The Langrill family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff at Norwell NVNA Works and Royal Braintree for the love and care they provided to Marie over these past few months.
