Marie F. Burke

Burke, Marie F. (Flanagan) of Quincy, age 99, March 12, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Burke. Loving sister of the late William and Andrew Flanagan. Cherished aunt of Miriam A. Hayes, Andy Flanagan, Thomas M. Flanagan, Eleanor F. Mapps, William J. Flanagan, Jean M. Jay and the late Robert and William Flanagan. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Marie has been a resident of Quincy for over 30 years. She was employed by T.M. Duche in Boston as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1972. Marie loved being around her family, especially spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling and dancing and was known for her impeccable sense of style. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Donations in memory of Marie may be made to St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy, MA 02169.
