Marie F. Barry

Barry, Marie F. (Keohane) of Wareham formerly of Quincy, died January 3, 2019.

Beloved wife of Francis X. Barry of Wareham.  Loving mother of Peter Barry of Plymouth, Thomas Barry of Quincy, Peggy Millham of Sandwich, Fran Barry, Dan Barry, Vincent Barry and Susan Beaucage all of Braintree.  Devoted grandmother affectionately known as Sweetie-Pie to 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Cherished sister of Sheila Lotti of Easton, Edward Keohane of Quincy, Kathleen Noel of North Wood, ME, Paul Keohane and the late Robert Keohane and Betty McGowan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marie was a devout Catholic and an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Quincy.  She was on the parish council, a Eucharistic minister and director of the CCD program for over 10 years.  Marie was a volunteer at St. Patrick’s food pantry and enjoyed knitting prayer shawls for cancer patients.  Her main passion in life was spending time with her family.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne on Wednesday at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marie may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
