Marie Ellen Peroni

Marie Ellen (Joy) Peroni died February 18, 2022

Marie was born and raised in South Boston and moved to Quincy where she raised her children. Marie worked as a Realtor for many years and enjoyed her job; she especially liked meeting new people. Marie was a sun-worshipper who enjoyed traveling to tropical destinations whenever she could. Beginning in January she would start wishing she were in Puerto Rico or Florida. We then knew that tickets would be purchased and she would be off. She was a free spirit who will be dearly missed.

Wife of the late Ray Peroni, Marie was the loving mother of daughter Les McDonough and her husband Richard Purtle of Brattleboro VT, Pamela Donovan and her husband Dennis of Abington and the late Cynthia McDonough. Cherished sister of Charles Joy and his wife the late Myna Joy of Weymouth. Devoted Nana to Jillian Donovan of Abington MA. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Friday February 25th from 9 AM – 11 AM followed by Funeral Home Service at 11AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
