Marie E. Flaherty

Marie E. (McAuliffe) Flaherty of Rochester, NH,  originally from Quincy,  died on April 7, 2017, surrounded by the family she cherished. The beloved wife of the late Dennis F. Flaherty.  Loving mother of Denise Flaherty of Rochester, NH and Kevin Flaherty and his wife Lissa of Brewster and the late Timothy Flaherty. Sister of the late Francis “Sonny” McAuliffe. Devoted grandmother of Lisa, Jennifer, Shayla and Andrew. Great grandmother of Mia Anderson.

Marie was born and raised in Quincy. She graduated from Quincy High School and raised her family in Braintree. Marie enjoyed Bingo and spending time with the family she cherished. She had a very special place in her heart for her two dogs Pedro and Chico. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on  Wednesday at 10:45am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30AM.

Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
