Marie Dupont

Dupont, Marie W. (Wynn) of Canton, formerly of South Boston & Dorchester, died peacefully on April 4, 2009. The beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Dupont. Loving mother of Russell Dupont and his wife Carol of Whitman. Cherished Nana to Eric Dupont of Norfolk, Marc Dupont of Brockton and Kristen Lombardo of Whitman. Sister of Helen Waugman of Holbrook, Louise Greeley of Mashpee, James Wynn of Quincy , Richard Wynn of Rockland and the late Walter Wynn. Marie is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie grew up in South Boston and Dorchester. She worked for many years as a designer at Stone & Webster and several other engineering firms retiring back in 1985. Marie traveled all over the world even visiting the North Pole. She was a lifelong member of the Society of Women Engineers and an officer and member of St. Augustines Sodality. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marie may be made to Hellenic Nursing Home, 601 Sherman St. Canton, MA 02021.
