Marie A. Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Marie A. of Bourne formally of Weymouth, passed away February 20, 2013.

Marie was a devoted Catholic growing up as a parishioner at St. Bridget’s church, later becoming a member of Immaculate Conception in Weymouth. She was a member of the Weymouth Union Towers social activities group where she gained many friends.  Marie loved ceramics and spending time with her family.  She will be remembered for her good heart whom was always helping those less fortunate. 

Pre deceased by the love of her life James T. Fitzgerald Sr.  Loving mother of Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife Joanne of Middleboro, James Fitzgerald Jr. and Al of Bourne and the late Leo J. Fitzgerald. Beloved grandmother of Kevin G. Fitzgerald of Hyde Park.  Devoted sister of the late Francis Flynn, James D. Flynn and John L. Flynn.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:30 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11:30 AM. Burial on Wednesday at 11 AM in MA National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marie’s memory to the wounded warriors project at support.woundedwarriorsproject.org.
