Kurciviez, Marianne (Sichra) of Hingham January 27, 2004. Beloved wife of 46 years to Bradford F. Kurciviez of Hingham. Loving mother of Jacqueline of Hingham, Carolyn Young of Belchertown, Michael and his wife Phyllis of Hull, Dean and his wife Mary of Weymouth, Peter Wyman of Florida, and the late Robin Karen Kurciviez. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Anne, Jacen, Marcus, Dean, Danielle, Jessica, James and Jillian. Dear aunt of Erica Petlach of Vienna, Austria. Close friend of Carolyn Peraino of Hingham. Ms. Kurciviez came to Boston in the 1950’s and was employed part time at Brooks Drugstore, and was a recording secretary at the Hingham Senior Citizens Club for 5 years. She loved to dance and loved music, especially the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. Marianne was a nature lover that enjoyed gardening and caring for injured wildlife. Her hobbies included knitting, reading, bowling, boating, tennis, and walking her dogs. She was also a master at her Playstation 2. Marianne loved to travel and made frequent trips home to visit family. She also enjoyed many trips offered to senior citizens from the Whipple Center. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham Saturday at 10 AM. There are no visiting hours. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New England Wildlife Center 19 Fort Hill St. Hingham, MA 02043 or a charity of your choice.
