Maria Vidreiro Figueiredo Graça

Maria Vidreiro Figueiredo Graça,”Céu” of Hingham, originally of Portugal, died April 7, 2025 with her loving family after a long illness.

Céu was the matriarch of her family and adored them all, treating her grandchildren like her own children. She took care of them when needed and was always very involved in their lives. She was a devout Catholic and walked to church every day when she was able. She would read her book of prayers and the rosary every morning. Céu enjoyed traveling back to Portugal to visit family and making pilgrimages to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima many times and has her name in the book of miracles in Fatima. In her spare time, she would pray, garden, and loved making Easter bread with her grandchildren by hand every year. She was a giving and selfless woman who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Jose Graça. Devoted mother of Jose Vidreiro Graça and his wife Alexandrina of Portugal, Maria Albina Gibson and her husband Chuck of Hingham, and Carlos Graça of RI. Cherished Mãe, Mãezinha, and Avó of her grandchildren Daniel Jose Graça, Jessica Alexandra Graça, Al (Betinho) Gibson and his wife Caitlin, Alyssa Beth Fisher and her husband LCDR Tyler, Cody Gibson and his wife Erin, Antonio Graça, Marco Graça, and her great grandchildren Niky Gibson, Elie Gibson, Chloe Graça, Anthony Graça, and Gibson Jett Fisher.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited greet the family for a brief visitation Saturday 4/12/2025 at the Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 9:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 AM.
