McDonough, Maria A. (DiOrio) of Quincy, formerly of Roslindale, died after a brief illness on July 4, 2009. The beloved wife of the late Myles McDonough. Devoted mother of Myles McDonough and his wife Tracey of Braintree, Jason McDonough of Quincy and Michael McDonough and his wife Shannon of Quincy. Daughter of the late Adam & Louise (Alonzo) DiOrio. Sister of Kathy DiOrio of Warren, Thomas DiOrio of Rochester and John DiOrio of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Shae, Cian and Dylan McDonough. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Maria was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a generous woman with a great sense of humor who loved to be surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
