Marguerite V. White

White, Marguerite V. (Barthel) of Weymouth, died November 12, 2013. She was 95.

Marguerite grew up in Dorchester, graduating from Notre Dame Academy in Roxbury. She lived in North Weymouth for most of her life. Marguerite worked for the Patriot Ledger for many years in the circulation department. She was a member of a bridge club and enjoyed cooking and knitting. In her early years she enjoyed bowling as well. She will be sadly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard White. Devoted mother of Judith Duff and her husband Mike of Hanover. Cherished “Gramma” of Laura Petersen of RI, Elizabeth Duff of Hanover and 3 great-grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
