Marguerite “Peg” Neville

Neville, Marguerite B. “Peg” (Joyce) of Quincy, passed away July 11, 2011. Beloved wife of Walter D. Neville of Quincy. Loving mother of Peter Neville of Stoughton, Joyce Murray and her husband Marc of Mansfield and Elaine Rathgeb and her husband Joe of Foxboro. Sister of James Joyce and his wife Peggy of Quincy. Also sister of the late Mary Kane, Rita Stout and Peter and William Joyce. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Alex and Nicolas Neville of Stoughton, Samantha, Alison and Caroline Rathgeb of Foxboro and Zachary and Olivia Murray of Mansfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in the area. Peg was born and educated in Boston. She lived in Dorchester for many years before settling in Quincy where she lived for the past 39 years. Peg was a longtime member of the Quincy YMCA where she enjoyed her daily swims. She enjoyed many trips to Maine and loved spending time on Cape Cod. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
