Scanlan, Marguerite F. (Schaetzl) of Quincy, June 8, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Scanlan, Sr. Loving Mother of Margaret Scanlan of FL and Patricia A. Scanlan of Quincy and the late Thomas J. Scanlan, Jr. Sister of the late Mary Cairns, Thomas, William and John Schaetzl. Marguerite will be dearly missed by her beloved pet Dusty. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visitation will be prior to the mass on Friday. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery , West Quincy. Marguerite grew up in Quincy , she attended Quincy schools and graduated from North Quincy High School Class of 1939. She worked at New England Telephone company as an operator and retired in 1964 after 30 years. Marguerite enjoyed baking, entertaining, flower arranging and she loved to travel.
