Marguerite F. “Margo” Dionne

Dionne, Marguerite “Margo” F. Dionne, of Scituate, December 24, 2010. Our beloved mother was a very generous, gracious, and gentle woman who loved and cared for her two daughters, Louise Nowlan of Scituate, and Margo Siegfried of Hingham, her nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She had a wry sense of humor and loved to laugh. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest. She graduated at the top of her class from L’Ecole de la Presentation de Marie, St. Hyacinth, Quebec. She moved to New Bedford, MA, where she met and married her best friend, the late H. Ernest Dionne. Their love affair lasted for 43 years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Eugenie (Gauttier) and Joseph Masse. Adored grandmother, “Memere” will be deeply missed by her devoted grandchildren, Kevin Kuechler (Paula Giancola), Kara K. Cella (Charles), Kim Y. McGuckin (Jeff), Kristy M. Kuechler (Edgar Pineda), Kate D. Gill (Eoin), Kurt L. Kuechler (Anna), Emily R. Elliott (Jim), John E. Siegfried (Maria), and Jane L. Watson (Marc). She is also survived by her loving sons-in-law, Richard G. Nowlan and Edward R. Siegfried, many nieces and nephews, and the many friends she has made everywhere she went during her 97 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, December 27, 2010 from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, S. Main Street, Cohasset at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Hingham Food Pantry, Main St., Hingham 02043, or to St. Basil’s, East St. Methuen 01844.
