Marguerite E. Jensen

Jensen, Marguerite E. (McGarry) of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Florida and Quincy, died on June 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, she was 88.  Marguerite loved the beach. She enjoyed shopping and fine dining.  She worked as a secretary for Stone & Webster Engineering in Boston for several years. The center of her life was her family, she adored her husband Walter. He was truly the love of her life. Her family is grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. She will be sadly missed.

The beloved wife of the late Walter M. Jensen. Devoted mother of  Patricia Cunningham and her husband Thomas of Millis, Christopher Jensen of Belmont, Mark Jensen  and his wife Doris of Columbus, Ohio and the late John F. Jensen. Marguerite is pre-deceased by 5 brother and sisters. Cherished grandmother of Lori and Lisa Cunningham, Thomas  and his wife Lori A. Cunningham, Christine Cunningham, Meghan Bedrosian, Sheri Jensen Bodle and Eric Jensen. Marguerite is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday  morning from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Followed by the Funeral Mass  on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy.

Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
