Margarete R. Reilly

Reilly, Margarete R. (Schulze) of Quincy, died June 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. 

Margarete was born and raised in Germany.  She met her husband while he was stationed in Germany and together they moved to the United States in 1965. Margarete could often be found gardening during the summer and knitting sweaters for her family during the winter.  She especially loved to dance.  Margarete’s main passion was spending time with her family and those she loved.  She will be sadly missed.

Beloved wife of 50 years of Andrew Reilly of Quincy.  Loving mother of Beate Wolf of Germany, Doris Bohmert of Germany, Monika Ouellette and her husband James of Quincy and Alice Ascolillo and her husband Robert of Winthrop.  Devoted Oma of Robert, Andrew, Christine, Nicholas, Alexander and 6 other grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren in Germany. Caring sister of Hans Schulze, Helga Bohley and Elsa Schulze of Germany.   Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
