Margaret Vieira

Vieira, Margaret (Toomey) of Hull, formerly of East Boston, passed away March 27, 2013. 

Beloved wife of the late Edward R. Vieira.  Loving mother of Kevin Vieira of Hull, Stephen Vieira of Hull, William Vieira of Ashfield, and James Vieira of Ashfield.  Sister of Ellie Kanall of Winthrop, Frances Bonner of Concord, and the late Mary Tierney, Agnes Toomey, Anna Pedro, Alice Toomey, Catherine Reynolds, and Thomas Toomey.  Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret received great pride and satisfaction in taking care of her family.  She was a wonderful cook and seamstress.  Always active in her children and grandchildren’s lives, she could be seen at all of their activities and sporting events, especially Hull football.  A longtime member of St. Ann’s Church in Hull, she participated in the Sodality, CCD instruction, and many church outings.  She will be remembered for her selfless nature and love of her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to Hull Boosters, PO Box 305, Hull, MA 02045.
