Margaret C. “Peggy” Wayshville

Margaret C. “Peggy” Wayshville (Johnstone) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2023. She was 77 years old.

Born in England she was the daughter of the late George and Annie May Johnstone (Nunn).  Margaret was a telephone operator for Boston Medical Center for 17 years, and Quincy Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, riding on motorcycles, and all animals. She loved to cook, and Loved baking cookies for her grandchildren. Mamma loved her kitties!

Beloved wife of Peter Wayshville of Weymouth. Loving mother of Dorothy Vohnoutka of Fall River; Trina Frank and Jeffrey Arruda of  Taunton, Deborah Black of Taunton, Angela Popalo and her husband Matt of Westwood and Alicia Wayshville and her husband Rafael DeOliveira of Mansfield. Dear sister of Anne Burns of Brockton, Phyllis Lembo and her husband Bub of NH, Allen Johnstone and his wife Ann of NH, Doreen Blair and her husband Punkin of Illinois, Pauline Dangora of Braintree and the late Tony Nunn and George Johnstone. Sister in law of Gary Wayshville and his wife Christine of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Adam Johnstone of Warwick RI, Stephen Robichaud Jr and Melissa Martinez of Weymouth, Alden Strecker of Westwood, Robert Johnstone of Fall River, Jason and Jeffrey Arruda of Taunton, Madison Arruda of Taunton, Anthony DeOliveira of Mansfield, and Gabriella and Isabella Popalo of Westwood and Alec DeOliveira of  Mansfield. Great grandmother to Alexandria, Danielis, Jonathan, Austin, Chandler and Xavier. Dear friend of John Dooley and his wife Ou of Quincy, Also will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 12/20 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 7 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) , Weymouth.
