Margaret “Tootie” Connelly

Connelly, Margaret “Tootie” of Weymouth and Marco Island, FL, formerly of Scituate and South Boston, passed away August 26, 2018. She was born in South Boston to the late Lawrence and Margaret O’Toole. Margaret was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed bingo and knitting blankets and outfits for the grandchildren.

Beloved wife of 51 years to Walter J. Connelly of Weymouth and Marco Island, FL, formerly of Scituate and South Boston. Loving mother of Jil Connelly McMahon and her husband Michael of Plymouth, Gregg Connelly and his wife Suzanne of Rockland, Kim P. Connelly of Weymouth, Tracy M. Cutting and her husband Bob of Scituate and Walter “Jimmy” Connelly of Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Michael W. McMahon of Plymouth, Kacey P. McMahon of Plymouth, Shauna L. Connelly of Rockland, Christine M. Cutting of Scituate and Courtney M. Cutting of Scituate. Dear sister of Marie Mullen of Dorchester, Dorothy O’Toole of South Boston and the late Joan “Sissy” Dunphy. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
