Denon, Margaret T. “Peg” (Quinn) of Weymouth, formerly of Hingham, January 28, 2006. Wife of the late Edward J. Denon, Jr. Loving Mother of June Buckley of Abington and Sheila A. Stross of Loudonville, N.Y. and the late Edward J. Denon III and the late Denise Collins. Sister of Ann Butler of Weymouth and the late Joseph, James, Martin & Julia Quinn and the late Mary Martino. Sister in law of Mary Quinn of Weymouth and Dorothy Quinn of Hanover. Devoted Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was the Grandmother of the late Adam Stross. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peg may be made to Sacred Heart Parish Building Fund, 55 Commercial Street, Weymouth, Ma 02188. Peg grew up in Roxbury, she married the late Edward J. Denon, Jr. and raised her family in Dorchester where they lived until the early 1950’s. She lived in Braintree before moving to Hingham where she lived for 33 years. Peg’s husband died at an early age and she worked full time as an accountant for Lovell’s Florist in Hingham for more than 20 years retiring back in 1997. She enjoyed cooking and music. She was a devoted mother and grandmother as well as a devoted Catholic, even when she could no longer go to Mass daily she would watch the Boston Catholic Television Mass. She moved to Weymouth and lived there for a few years before she became a resident at Colonial Nursing Home for the past 2 months.
