Margaret T. O’Leary

O’Leary, Margaret T. (Eaton) of Duxbury, formerly of Quincy, died January 16, 2015.

Margaret’s life revolved around three dominant themes; faith, family, and friends.  She had volunteered and worked for many years at St. John’s Church in Quincy.  She participated in the religious education program at the church for several years.  Margaret was also devoted to the Virgin Mary and traveled to Portugal on a Pilgrimage to Fatima.  Known as “Auntie Margie”, she enjoyed the company of her family and friends and especially loved her nieces and nephews.  Mrs. O’Leary worked as a telephone clerk for many years at New England Telephone.  She will be remembered as a loving, sociable, kind, and caring woman who will be missed by her family. 

Beloved wife of the late Humphrey O’Leary.  Loving daughter of the late Harry Eaton and Mary Ellen (McCarthy).  Cherished sister of Carol A. Buccheri and her husband Richard J. Buccheri Duxbury, and the late Joseph H. Eaton, and Lillian M. Hutson.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
