Margaret T. Meehan-Doyle

Meehan-Doyle, Margaret T.(Coyne) 86 of Hingham,formerly of North Quincy, passed away on September 22, 2009 at South Shore Hospital,surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of William A. Doyle and the late Warren R. Meehan Sr. Devoted mother of Warren Meehan and his wife Joan, John (Jack) Meehan and his wife Marina, Robert Meehan and his wife Maureen, James Meehan and his wife Karen and Michael Meehan all of Marshfield. Step-mother and dear friend of Marie Doyle of Hingham and the late Paul Doyle. She was the loving Narni to nine grandchildren, Nicole, Marina, Brielle, Brian, Brendan, Jennifer, Jonathan, Kevin, and Matthew Meehan, all of Marshfield. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Delia Coyne and the sister of the late Ann Coyne Bowles. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born and raised in North Quincy where she lived for most of her life, and was a proud member of the Class of 1942 from North Quincy High School. She was involved with many P.T.A. organizations and Booster Clubs through the years. She worked as a secretary for various South Shore companies for many years before retiring and spending part of each year in Longboad Key, FL with her husband Bill. Margaret’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends, with whom she shared her love of life and her wonderful smile. We will all miss her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday from 4-8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
