Margaret Christine (Santry) Reeves

Margaret “Chris” Reeves of Hingham died on March 21, 2025.

Born in Charlestown, Massachusetts in 1932, Chris was the daughter of John Santry and Bridget (Horrigan) Santry. Chris graduated from Charlestown High in 1950 and was a proud “Townie” throughout her entire life. For many years she was a legal secretary at the law firm Hale and Dorr, in Boston, before retiring in the late 1990s. In retirement, she enjoyed lively games of mahjong at the Hingham senior center as well as reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Chris was predeceased by her husband George Reeves and son Denis Reeves. She was the devoted mother to Maureen Sparagna and her husband Stephen of Milton, Kathleen Jensen and her husband Kevin of Hingham, Sheila Doust and her husband Alfred of Hingham, and Michael Reeves and his wife Amy of Fairfax Station, Virginia. She will also be remembered and cherished by her eight grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
