Margaret R. Olecki

Olecki, Margaret R. (Saunders) of Quincy, passed away June 30, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus J. Olecki. Loving mother of Ann Marie Flaherty and her husband, Vincent, of Quincy, and Patricia R. Crosby of Braintree. Sister of Katherine Grant of Braintree, and Herbert Saunders of Bourne. Grandmother of Joseph, Christopher, and Annmarie Crosby, David, Daniel, and Brian Flaherty. Also survived by 3 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Boston, and had lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Quincy eighteen years ago. She had worked for twenty five years as a seamstess for marine clothing in Dorchester until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, July 5th, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mt Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
