LeClair, Margaret “Peggy” (Dickson) 84, of Hingham died on September 5, 2012. Passed away suddenly at her new residence in Hingham. Beloved wife of the late Norman R. LeClair. Born in Boston on May 30, 1928, she leaves her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and one sister. Mother of Deborah and her husband Kevin Madden of Quincy, Judith and her husband Kevin Maher of Middleborough, Janice and her husband Gene MacDonald of Hingham, and Brian and his wife Barbara LeClair of Hingham. Grandmother of: Amy Murphy, Megan, Erin and Courtney Madden; Christopher, Gregory and Matthew Maher; Laura Accettella, Eric and Katherine LeClair; Craig and Cori MacDonald; and ten Great Grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Dixie Ellis and predeceased brothers John, Walter and Donald Dickson, and sister Theresa O’Brien. Peggy was truly a people person. She enjoyed sharing her Irish wit in conversation and enjoyed making new friends. She had a passion for decorating her home and she also enjoyed helping her children decorate their homes whether they requested her help or not. Peg also enjoyed music especially big band. The essence of her life was her family, they were the foundation of all that was truly important to her. She was devoted to them and in return they cherished her. Her passing leaves a void in their lives, but they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Her legacy of love and her caring spirit will live on in their hearts forever. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday Sept. 10 from 8:30 -9:30am in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of the Resurrection, Main Street, Hingham on Monday at 10am. Burial in Hingham Cemetery. Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to Sunrise of Cohasset, 125 King St. Cohasset, MA or to Bridges by Epoch 1 SGT. William B. Terry Drive, Hingham, MA 02043.
