Margaret O. King

King, Margaret O. (Morin) of Quincy, passed away August 7, 2011. Beloved mother of Margaret Mosley of Quincy. Loving grandmother of Jason Mosley of England, Jennie Mosley and Daniel Mosley both of Texas. Cherished great-grandmother of Eric and Freija Mosley of England. Sister of the late Stanley Morin. Margaret was born in New York, NY. She settled in Quincy where she lived for most of her life. Margaret was a graduate of Quincy High School, Radcliffe College and Boston University. Margaret worked for Quincy Public Schools, teaching at North Quincy High School and Quincy High School where she was head of the math department for many years. Margaret was past President of the Quincy Education Association, Member of the Quincy School Committee, Chair of MTA Ethics Committee, and was active in the Mass Teachers Association. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy Thursday at 10 AM. Burial will be private in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
