Margaret M. Gaughran

Gaughran, Margaret (Hamill) of Quincy, formerly Roslindale, died February 21, 2017.  

Peg loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gambling, bingo, trips to Foxwoods, golf, and traveling. She loved music and singing, often going to piano bars to perform with her friends. Peg worked as a longtime bookkeeper for different businesses over the years. She was a quiet woman who had a kind heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved wife of the late Francis Gaughran. Loving mother of Peggy Eck and her partner Fred Adam of Shokan, NY and Diane Palardy and her husband Robert of Quincy. Cherished sister of Helen Gaughran of Dedham , Nancy Flaherty and her husband Dave of North Carolina, and the late Shirley Lennon and Francis Hamill. Cherished Nan of Robert Fuller and his wife Laurie, Laureen Barchey and her husband William, Michael Fuller, Pamela Palardy, David Palardy and his wife Kristin, and Dennis Palardy and his wife Maria. Loving great Nan of Christian, Kelsey, and Karley Fuller, Amanda and Sara Barchey and Jack and Bobby Palardy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and longtime friend Louise Rupprecht. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
