Margaret M. Bernasconi

Bernasconi, Margaret M. of Dorchester, died on Friday, August 20, 2010, she was 81. The beloved daughter of the late Joseph & Letizia Bernasconi. Loving sister of Silvio Bernasconi of Braintree and Jane Wallace and her husband Peter of Quincy and the late Nilda Rice, Mary Barry, Irene McCollem, Virginia Wilkie and Josph & Victor Bernasconi. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A longtime New England Telephone operator, she was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers Club. Margaret loved to garden and crochet. She also enjoyed attending ceramic classes. She will be remembered as a devoted Aunt who never forgot a birthday, and sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday 4-7pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to a charity of your choice.
