Margaret J. Scully

Scully, Margaret J. (Kearney) of Weymouth, died on June 1, 2013, she was 78.

Margaret grew up in Jamaica Plain, before moving to Weymouth 45 years ago. An avid reader, Margaret also enjoyed baking, she was well known for her famous Irish bread. Throughout her life she provided child care for her extended family, which she enjoyed. The essence of her life was truly her family. She created a loving and caring home and provided unconditional love to all of them, they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Margaret will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.

The  beloved wife of the late Robert C. Scully. Cherished mother of Elizabeth A. Mellor and her husband Thomas of Hudson. Sister of Michael Kearney of NJ and Phyllis Gifford of Weymouth and the late Anne Driscoll, Cecile Kisil, Bernard, Katherine, Alice, Daniel, Philip, William and Hugh Kearney, Devoted Grammy of Caitlin & Kylie Mellor. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.  Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to Hospice VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
