Margaret Gillespie

Gillespie, Margaret  Mary (Brown) “Peggy”  of Quincy, died on September 12, 2016, surrounded by the family she loved. The beloved wife of the late James Gillespie. Loving mother of James Gillespie and his wife Lauraine of Quincy, Michael Gillespie and his wife Dru of Methuen, Lisa Marie Gillespie Carr of Norco, CA, Patrick Gillespie of Chicago, IL and Kelly Gillespie Simons of Hull. Peggy is pre deceased by 4 sisters and brother. Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Michael Jr., Nicholas, Jaime, Erik, Shyre, Skye, Leeanne,Terra, David, Hunter and Alexandria. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anyone who met Peggy was instantly drawn to her sweet disposition, graciousness and infectious laugh. She enjoyed jewelry making, crocheting and her Sebring convertible. Heaven will be brighter with the arrival of this sweet woman. Peggy will be sadly missed.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 8-9:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
