Margaret F. “Peggy” Rioux

Rioux, Margaret F. “Peggy”(Fontaine) of Quincy, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness on April 16, 2012. Wife of the late Edmund Rioux, Sr. Loving mother of Janet Watkins and Edmund Rioux, Jr. of Squantum, Celeste Gobeille and her husband David of Rehoboth. Lovingly survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Peggy worked for J M Fields, King’s Department Store, and most recently at Marina Bay condo. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. Peggy was a longtime member and officer of Circle Yacht Club, N.Q.H.S. graduate of 38 and member of the reunion committee. Because of her outgoing personality her favorite quotation was “though she is small, she is fierce”. Most of all Peggy’s greatest love has been her family. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
