Margaret Elizabeth Petrell

Margaret Elizabeth “Betty” Petrell (Rowe) of Hanover, died peacefully surrounded by her family on November 4, 2023, at the age of 92.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, D. Ernest Petrell, nearly 13 years ago. Betty and Ernie had an amazing life together, raising their family in Hanover, MA and later enjoying spending time with family and friends at their homes in Florida and on Cape Cod. Loving mother of Deborah (Richard), Susan Zuccaro (Paul) of Hanover, Renee McInnes (Paul) of Norwell, Lisa Delude (Steven) of Charlton, and Laurie Antone (Lee) of Hingham. Sister of the late Richard “Dick” Rowe and the late Wade Rowe. Betty was the loving and proud “Grandma” to her 13 grandchildren Richard, Melissa, Matthew, John, Mark, Hannah, Sara, Andrew, Courtney, Christopher, Amelia, Nina and Sophie, and loving “GiGi” to her 12 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Betty was beloved by all who knew her; she was a true caregiver, a trusted friend, and an amazing cook. Her daughters learned to be great moms because of her, and her grandchildren knew Grandma would drop everything to be with them; and they cherished her undying love and devotion.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 11/18/2023 from 1-4 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH, 809 Main Street (Rte. 18). Funeral service and burial will be private.
