Margaret E. “Peg” Foley

Foley, Margaret E. “Peg” (Shea) of Quincy, formerly of Hingham died on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Simon W. Foley. Devoted mother of Charles M. Foley of Leyden, James M. Foley of Pembroke, Martha Locke of Braintree, and Loretta Marie Barrasso of Weymouth. Loving sister of Gertrude Shea of Weymouth and the late Jean McCarthy, Mary McMahon, June Roach, John, William, and Walter Shea, and Anne Schuler. Cherished grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Peg was a longtime officer of the Catholic Women’s Club and parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She was an avid reader. Peg adored her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday, May 19, 2010 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Thursday, May 20, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
