Margaret E. Kelsey

Kelsey, Margaret E. (Manley) a lifelong resident of Quincy, died on Friday February 19, 2010. She was 86 years old. Beloved wife of the late Milton E. Kelsey. Loving mother of Karen Lamb of Hingham and the late Allan D. Kelsey. Sister of Dorothy Douglas of FL. Mother in Law to Mary Kelsey. Grandmother of Christopher Kelsey, Jeffrey Kelsey, Kim Kelsey-Martin, Julie McGoldrick and Brian Lamb and the late Kerri Kelsey- Reed. Margaret is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. An active member of Bethany Congregational Church, Margaret donated much of her time to church activities as well as volunteering at the Quincy Hospital. Margaret also enjoyed many hobbies, such as bowling, gardening, baking, and knitting. Margaret spent many fond summers at her family’s home in New Harbor, Maine. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Foundation, Mass Chapter, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA.
