Gainey, Margaret E. (Cuff) of Quincy August 4, 2007. Wife of the late John J. Gainey. Beloved mother of Lorraine M. LaPlume-Doherty of Quincy, John W. Gainey of Brewster, Mary Lou Izzo of Mansfield and the late James T. Gainey. Loving sister of Helen Campbell of Roslindale, Ruth Gilbertson of Canton, and the late Mildred Sweeney, Marion Casale, and William Cuff. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3 – 7 PM. Cremation will follow. Margaret was a secretary for Tufts/New England Medical Center for over 15 years. She was an outgoing, independent woman with a great sense of humor. Margaret was a great cook and loved to garden.
