Margaret B. D’Ambrosia (Curran) “Peg” of Marshfield, formerly of East Weymouth and Jamaica Plain, died July 22, 2013 at the age of 83.
Peg was the owner of Savin Products Company in Randolph. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed, bowling, Bingo, travel and visits to casinos. She was a very faithful communicant of St. Albert the Great Church in Weymouth. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late George and Sabina Curran. Wife of the late Joseph M. D’Ambrosia. Loving mother of Debbie D’Olimpio and her husband Stephen of Pembroke, Dona Occhialini and her husband Mark of Danvers, Diane Dickerson and her husband Tom of Marshfield, Denise Jacoppo and her husband David of Kingston and Nancy Corbo and her husband Tom of Marshfield. Sister of Betty DeMiglio and her husband Frank of Franklin, Tom Curran and his wife Marilyn Brait of Marshfield, Bill Curran and his wife Joyce of Halifax and the late Patrick and George Curran. Peg was the cherished “Nana” to her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Peg may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
