Margaret Anne Fay (Healy) of Quincy, age 72, died peacefully in her home on September 30, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Margaret was born and raised in Dorchester before moving to the South Shore. She was the former administrative assistant for Burgin Platner Hurley Insurance. Church was a big part of her life and she was a member of the OLGC Holy Trinity Choir for many years. Margaret had a zest for life. Her door was always open for everyone and she will be greatly missed. Loving daughter of the late Arthur J. and C. Evelyn (McAndrews) Healy and sister of the late Vincent A. Healy. Devoted mother of Jennifer Fay of Quincy, Christopher Fay and wife Joanne of Raynham, and Deirdre Fay and husband Kevin Bongarzone of Scituate. Adoring grandmother of James Fay and wife Emily, Caroline Beers, Thomas and Erin Fay, and Kayla and Jessica Bongarzone. Adoring Great-Nana to Ronin and Oliver Fay. Former wife of Kevin Fay. Cherished companion of Edward Bennett.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
