Curtin, Margaret A. (Gotthardt) of Quincy, died March 24, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late Fred T. Curtin.  Loving mother of Diane Curtin of Quincy, Paul Curtin and his wife Karen of Plymouth, James Curtin and his wife Irene of Attleboro, William Curtin and his wife CherylAnn of Alton Bay, New Hampshire and  Nancy Gilmartin and her husband Steven of South Weymouth.  Sister of Frances Gotthardt of Tyngsboro and the late Robert Gotthardt, Pearl Bennett and Dolly Gotthardt. Cherished grandmother of  8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Peggy was born in Boston and grew up in West Roxbury.  She worked as an underwriter for John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston for 40 years before retiring in 1984.  Peggy enjoyed spending  many years summering in Alton Bay New Hampshire with her family.  She loved to shop, travel, play Bingo and take trips to the Casinos.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she adored.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.  Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
