Mulkerrin, Madonna (MacKinnon) of Quincy died on February 8, 2006 after a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved Wife of the late Morgan Mulkerrin. Loving Sister of Mary Catherine Mooney of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Joan McLeod and Donald MacKinnon both of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. Aunt of Cathy and her husband Xerses Naegamvala of Worcester, Kevin, Brian and Gabriel McGoldrick all of West Roxbury, Michael & John MacKinnon both of St. Thomas Ontario, Canada. Sister in law of Mary McGoldrick of Jamaica Plain , Ann Mulkerrin of San Francisco, CA, Winnie & Matt of Spiddell, Ireland, Bridget & Margaret Mulkerrin of Dorchester and Peter & Johnnie Mulkerrin of Galway, Ireland. Madonna will be dearly missed by her beloved cat Tigger. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 2- 4 & 7- 9 PM. Burial in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Madonna was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada she came down to the United States in Sept. 1964 with her younger sister Mary Catherine. She worked for Verizon for approx. 20 years. she retired from Verizon in 1997, She then began working at State Street Bank in Quincy where she worked up until Dec. 2005. Madonna fought a valiant battle with cancer. She was a member of the Canadian American Club in Watertown, the Castle Island Association in South Boston and was a member of the Retirees Club Local 2222 telephone company assoc. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, she traveled to Ireland and Canada and she loved her beloved cat “Tigger”.
