Pierce, Madeline M. (Rooney) of Hingham, formerly of West Roxbury, October 3, 2002. Devoted mother of Priscilla Laura O’Brien of Hingham, Frank W. Pierce, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Houston, TX, Robert F. Pierce and his wife, Margaret, of Walpole, and Brad W. Pierce and his wife, Alice, of Hingham. Loving sister of Dorothy Sarkis of West Roxbury, and the late Alice Rooney, Gladys Lapsley, Frederic Rooney, Margaret Pierce Newman, twin sister Mary Rogers, James and Walter Rooney, and Frances Dearing Cox. Loving grandmother of thirteen and great grandchildren of eight. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St. and outside Hingham Square), HINGHAM Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Family and friends invited to the home of Brad Pierce.
