Madeline C. (Cestoni) Dondero

Dondero, Madeline C. (Cestoni) of Quincy, August 5, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Stephen H. Dondero. Devoted mother of Henry “Hank” J. Dondero and his wife Joanne of Quincy and Walter H. Dondero of Falmouth. Sister of Dominic Cestoni of Huntington Beach, CA, and the late Frances DeAngelis and Walter Cestoni. Loving grandmother of Jonna Dondero Sheehy and her husband Brian, Jennifer Dondero, Mark Dondero, Caroline Dondero, Lori Dondero Shisler, Michael Dondero, Stephen Dondero and 10 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and the caring staff at Marina Bay Skilled Nursing. Madeline worked at Quincy High School for 20 years working in the cafeteria before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans that she gave to friends and to worthy causes. Most of all, Madeline’s family was the most important part of her life. She will be missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Sunday 3 – 7 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday, August 10, 2009 prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
