Mabel Betsy “Betty” Duncan

Duncan, Mabel Betsy (Smith)”Betty”. Betty, formerly of Southern Pines, NC died of cancer on April 19, 2005 in her home in Quincy, MA. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1914. She leaves her beloved husband of 55 years John D. Duncan (Jack). She was the loving mother of Tricia Hanson of Brookline, MA, the cherished grandmother of Christina Pinkerd of Orinda, CA and Katie Rowe of Hot Springs, VA, the dear aunt of Bette Merchant of Minn, MN and adored great-grandmother of Alysha and Noelle. Betty enjoyed many hobbies including bridge and golf. She was an avid reader and a great cook. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
