Lynn M. Burgess

Burgess, Lynn M. (Whittemore) of Weymouth, passed away July 27, 2017. Lynn grew up in Brockton, later moving to Weymouth. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and worked as a Home Health Coordinator for the Anodyne Corporation for many years. Lynn’s family was the center of her world, she loved spending time with them by the pool and going on vacations together.

Lynn is survived by her husband and best friend of 25 years, Scott E. Burgess of Weymouth. Beloved mother of Jessica Cohan and her companion Nel of Brockton and Amanda Cohan of Weymouth. Loving daughter of Mary J. Whittemore and the late Robert J. Whittemore. Cherished grandmother of Jayden, Jordan and Aviyana. Dear sister of Billy Whittemore of Taunton, Bobby Whittemore of Bridgewater and Mark Whittemore of Carver. Also survived by her sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and amazing co-workers from Anodyne.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
