McDermott, Luke of Hingham, age 10 by accident in New Hampshire on June 4, 2005. The beloved son of Linda (Reynolds) McDermott of Hingham and Richard J. McDermott, Jr. of Westbrooke, ME. Grandson of Marie Reynolds of Hingham and the late Francis Reynolds and Jocelyn & Richard J. McDermott, Sr. both of FL. Nephew of Glenn Reynolds of Quincy, Diane & Dale Reynolds both of Hingham, Colleen Shue of FL and Jonathan McDermott. Cousin of Gregory Shue of FL. Luke also leaves many cherished friends. Luke loved to read, he enjoyed baseball, his team came in second place last year in the Hingham Little league, he enjoyed basketball, soccer, he took swimming lessons. He had a passion for video games. His family remembers how much he enjoyed school and all his classmates. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Luke may be made to the South Elementary School, 831 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
