Batchelder, Lucille A. (McMahon) of Quincy, April 9, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Batchelder. Daughter of the late William J. & Gertrude C. (McSwain) McMahon. Sister of Arthur F. & Leonard A. McMahon both of Quincy. Rev. Albert McMahon, OFM of CT, Ruth Caronia/Biche of New Jersey and Regina McMahon of Wollaston. Lucille is also survived by many nieces & nephews , grand and great grand nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 333 Hancock St., N. QUINCY Saturday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Lucille was born in Boston and grew up in Quincy. She loved music and after graduating form high school , Lucille went to study music at Faelton School of Music in Boston for 2 years. After completing her studies at the music school, Lucille began to teach both piano & organ lessons , both from her home and also private lessons in the students home. Lucille also played for St. Jerome’s Church in Weymouth for many years. She enjoyed sewing as well as music. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lucille may be made to to the Franciscan Friars, 125 Thompson St. New York 10012 or to St. Ann’s Parish, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
