Lowell T. Gordon

Lowell T. Gordon of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died November 11, 2015 at the age of 78.

Lowell grew up in Roxbury and learned a strong work ethic early in life. For many years, he worked as an engine mechanic. Sailing was a favorite pastime for Lowell and he was a member of the South Boston Yacht Club. He learned how to sew in order to work on his own sails. Lowell also enjoyed playing the violin.

Husband of the late Ann (Driscoll) Gordon. Loving father of Lowell Gordon and wife Kristin of Medfield, Joe Gordon of Quincy, Edward Gordon and Eric Gordon, both of Weymouth. Grandfather of Caroline, Lilly, Amanda, Sam and the late Joseph. Brother of Robert Gordon of Quincy, Lenny Gordon of NH, Lou Gordon of Wakefield, Al Gordon of Sandwich, Walter Gordon of Braintree and the late Cecelia, Richard, Harry and Rosie. Brother in law of James Driscoll and Euanna Driscoll of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Donations in memory of Lowell may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
